just busted a few tee graphic for the annual uniqlo 3million yen design contest.

this is a bit of japanese one. it’s pretty funny, japanese people don’t grunt or go ‘ugh!’ or when something is heavy to lift or requires more than the normal amount of effort. they say ‘yosh!’ and that means everyone from the oldest old person walking up steps to the littlest school kid trying to open a can of drink. it’s pretty funny, and also kind of contagious. i wanted to make the speech bubbles look like the vital organs saying ‘yosh!’ along with everyone else.
with these other ones, i wanted to use a coupla photos i took this year cos uniqlo’s awesome printing facilities could make tee graphics like these a possibility.

mountains in the rainy season here. the graphic goes all the way round the back too.

the see thru commuter, for when you’re on the train.
